The Aberfan Young Wives Club

Documentary marking the 50th anniversary of the disaster in which thousands of tonnes of mud, rock and coal waste crashed down a Welsh mountain, destroying houses and covering a junior school. 116 children and 28 adults died. This film uses remarkable archive footage as well as the moving testimony of the mothers who have met every week since the tragedy.
